Letter : Clermont, N.Y., to [François Barbé-]Marbois, [Paris?], 1805 Dec. 16.

Autograph letter signed. Livingston writes about his concerns over the preservation of peace in Europe and about acts of aggression against American vessels by Spanish, French, and English privateers. He also informs Marbois that he has sent him a collection of American plants suitable to the French climate.
